Spider-Man PS4 latest news: release date and trailers

Here's what we know about the Spider-Man PS4 game including the first-look trailer.

Sony might not want to put Spider-Man up against the likes of Call of Duty WW2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and more this Fall, and so a delay out of 2017 could be seen as a smart business move at this point.

But could we see more of Spider-Man at E3 2017? It seems highly likely, given that we saw the announcement trailer for the game at E3 2016, and the fact that the game is still meant to be releasing this, if Marvel are to be believed.

What will the gameplay be like?

We also know that the game won't be based on the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film, and that it will feature a more experienced Spidey rather than a young Peter Parker.

We're promised that it won't just be swinging through the streets of New York. Intihar says "...we also want to introduce new elements that players have never experienced with Spider-Man, ranging from traversing with parkour and utilizing the environment, to new combat and blockbuster set-pieces."
